The devine herb" Gulvel"(Tinospora Cordifolia)


The divine medicine 'Gulvel' is an important plant in Ayurveda. Gulvel is also known as 'Amrita'. Because it is as healing as nectar. Gulvel removes innumerable ailments of man and prolongs them.


Gulwel is an evergreen vine that lasts for many years, climbs on the base of a tree or any other. With the help of tension like a thin rope bursting between two branches, it climbs up to the base holding the base.

Gulwel is a huge vine that looks like a money plant but is very dense. The leaves are heart-shaped. It has yellow flowers and small round fruits in clusters. 

 Its stem is juicy, which is used medicinally.
Modern research has come up with the ayurvedic aptitude of Gulveli as nectar, chemical, or aging (destroying old age and disease by protecting youth).

The large vines of Gulveli are fleshy and are spread on large trees and fences.


Trunk - 
The trunk of the vine is like a long thread, with green roots that hang down. The trunk is as thick as a finger, with a thin, skin-like skin, then peels off. 

 There are small holes in the trunk. If the trunk is cut horizontally, the inside looks round.


Leaves - 
simple, one-sided, heart-shaped. Are dark green and smooth. Leaf stalk long. 7 to 9 veins appear on the leaves and the width of the leaves is 5 to 10 cm.




Flowers - 
Small yellowish-green regular and unisexual. They come in long, delicate, drooping inflorescences that come from the leaf axils. Male and female flowers come in different vines. The male flowers come in clusters while the female flowers come in clusters. Petals six, stamens six, ovary three cups, pollen bearer three divisions.


Fruits - round, large pea-like, hard shell. When ripe, they come in red, bunches. Bone, with a rough shell.
Gulveli flowers and fruits from November to June.

Gulvel strengthens the immune system:
Symptoms include frequent colds, fever, and weakness when the body's immune system is damaged. Consumption of Gulvel boosts the body's immune system.

Uses 

1.Gulveli extract and extract. 
 Aqueous extracts of turmeric are used as antipyretic. Gulveli extract is a tonic and is used in debilitating diseases, chronic fever, and indigestion. 

2. Dilute extract is used in chronic acidosis. This herb is considered to be important in relieving the symptoms of rheumatism as well as weakening the intestinal tract and strength.


3. It is good for mild typhoid fever and chronic fever.

4. Dilution increases appetite, improves digestion, reduces the patient's viscosity, reduces weakness, and increases strength.

 5. It is good for indigestion, stomach ache, and jaundice.

6. This plant is also useful in vitiligo, it reduces itching and inflammation.

Method of intake: -
The trunk of the Gulveli is used medicinally. Take a stalk about a foot thick and beat it. Add 5-10 basil leaves and boil in 2 cups of water. 

 Boil till 1/4 cup, then strain and add 1 teaspoon of honey. 

 Take once or twice a day.

Gulvel is available in the market under the names -
Gulvel Sattva, Amritarishta, etc., but the fresh Gulvel plant is more effective.

For seasonal flu-like fever, it should be taken for 5-7 days, and for other ailments, it should be taken for 3 weeks to 1/2 month or more.

Medicinal properties of Gulveli-
They make vegetables from the leaves of Gulveli. This vegetable enhances the fire in the body, so the digestion function in the body is better.

It is beneficial to eat jaggery after any type of fever. Helps reduce jaundice.

This vegetable is a dietary supplement for diabetes. Sugar has a beneficial effect on the body, so fatigue occurs, in this case, eat this vegetable in large quantities.


For frequent colds, coughs, and fevers, Gulveli is desirable.
The root cause of skin disorders is often in the blood. 

 This vegetable is useful in reducing vitiligo by eliminating blood impurities.

 Dosage - 
Take 1-3 teaspoons of dried stems and leaves 3-4 times a day and take milk sugar on top.

Kadha- 
Take 4-8 teaspoons 2-3 times a day and drink water on top.

Gulwel satwa- 
Take half a teaspoon of 3-4 times a day and take milk sugar on top.

Uses

Useful in heart disease
Gulveli improves blood circulation and strengthens the heart. Older people and heart patients should take Gulvelasattva or Amritarishta.
In the old fever of mulled- Gulvesattva is very beneficial.

Hepatitis, jaundice
Give half a teaspoon of turmeric plus 1 teaspoon of honey 3-4 times a day.

Useful in diabetes
-
 Dilution also lowers the increased blood sugar in diabetic patients. It also boosts immunity by helping to prevent the onset of diabetes mellitus (neuritis), blindness (optic neuritis), etc.

Spermatogenesis (ulcer) - 
It is very useful to treat male and female genital disorders. Take powdered milk and sugar on top.

For chemical work

Ingredients - Gulveli leaves, chopped onion and garlic, oil, chili powder. Salt etc.
